The pool is for scheduled classes. Public or free swimming is not available, as there is no lifeguard on duty.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST LESSON
A few helpful things.
How do I choose the right class?
Tell us the swimmer’s age, experience and confidence in the water. Our team can help you choose a suitable program and check availability.
What happens if we miss a lesson?
For group lessons, give at least four hours’ notice of absence due to sickness, an appointment or a school activity to be considered for a make-up. For morning lessons, please try to contact us the night before. Private lesson absences must be notified before class time; additional conditions apply. Make-ups depend on availability and cannot be used as a fee credit. Please contact our team for the full make-up conditions.
What should we bring?
Bring appropriate swimwear and a towel. Swim caps are compulsory for Learn to Swim and Mini Squad and can be purchased from our team. Babies and toddlers who are not toilet trained must wear swim nappies.
Do parents need to stay?
Yes. Parents or guardians must remain at the pool for the duration of the lesson. Please supervise children outside their lesson, and help us keep the pool area free from running, diving and glass.
Where do we enter and check in?
Enter through the main doors of Meridan Community Centre, then through the glass door into the pool facility. Check in with administration or your instructor. Exit the pool through the rear gate into the restroom facilities after your lesson.
Do you offer family discounts?
We generally do not offer family discounts, as we keep our class prices low for families with single or multiple bookings. Please contact administration with any payment questions.
